A homeowner in the town of Pleasant Springs is facing thousands of dollars in repairs after a garage fire Sunday evening. The Dane County Sheriff said just before 5:30 p.m., they responded to a fire in a garage on the 2800 block of Door Creek Road. While crews put out the fire, Door Creek Road between County Highway MN and Koshkonong Road was closed to traffic. Firefighters are estimating the fire caused around $5,000 in damages. The initial investigation showed an unattended charcoal grill may have caused the fire. No one was hurt by the fire.
