The home of a family of four is a total loss after a structure fire in Rock County Wednesday, according to the Town of Beloit deputy fire chief. The call reporting a structure fire in the 7500 block of West Highway 81 came in at about 2:33 p.m. Wednesday. The Orfordville Fire Department called for mutual aid to assist with the response to the fire. Deputy Fire Chief Richard Tippelt said the family wasn't home at the time of the fire. A contractor who was doing work on the home spotted the flames and called the fire department.
