A building in Waupaca County was evacuated because the roof was in danger of collapsing due to the weight of heavy snow. Assistant Fire Chief Brandon Leschke with the Weyauwega Fire Department said the roof in question was on an office building at the World Class Manufacturing campus. Leschke said workers noticed the ceiling tiles bowing and could hear creaking. Everyone got out of the building safely. No injuries were reported. Leschke said the building is closed Monday while they work to clear off the snow. Monday's building evacuation, coincidentally, fell on the 23rd anniversary of a train derailment that forced the evacuation of the town's 2,600 residents.
