Crews are at the scene of a house fire on Tops Road in Hatley. NewsChannel 7 spoke with the homeowner at the scene. She tells us there were three people inside of the home at the time of the fire. Everyone made it out OK. Our reporter at the scene also spoke with the Hatley fire chief. He tells us, they are still working on putting out the fire, but there is extensive damage to the first floor and smoke damage to the second. While the cause of the fire is not known at this point, the homeowner says that area had lost power before the fire. The Hatley and Birnamwood fire departments are at the scene.
