An off-duty Milwaukee firefighter was shot at a home near North 105th Street and West Cameron Avenue around 5:35 p.m. Monday. The 35-year-old firefighter was shot in the thigh, and is expected to be okay. Police have not confirmed what led to the shooting. Sources said the suspect was trying to steal the victim's car at the time of the shooting. Investigators don't have a good description of the suspect. They said he was a 25-year-old man. Police said they're looking for an older-model, red Toyota four-door involved in the shooting. No other details have been released.
