One student suffers minor injuries when a bus slides off a county road and tips on its side Tuesday morning near Arcadia. The bus ended up on its side off of County Road JJ near Kukowski Lane southwest of Arcadia. About 20 students were on the bus according to Arcadia Schools Superintendent Lance Bagstad. The accident happened around 7:08 a.m. as the driver was picking up students for elementary, middle, and high school. The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office said that the bus driver was going around a curve when the bus lost traction and went into a northbound ditch. When the bus entered the ditch, it tipped over on its side. Bagstad said the one student with minor injuries was transported from the scene by ambulance.
