One person is dead after a fire early this morning in La Crosse. The La Crosse Fire Department responded to a garage fire in the 900 Block of Caledonia Street around 3:45 Sunday morning. According to a report when crews arrived, they found a 2-car garage on fire with the victim dead inside. Firefighters were able to put out the flames within ten minutes. The victim has not been identified and police and the fire department are investigating.
