Authorities in Oak Creek managed to revive a Wisconsin man with quick thinking and the use of Narcan following an apparent drug overdose. According to police, officers and first responders were sent to an apartment unit in The Courts, 195 W. Puetz Road just before noon on Aug. 26 on a report of a drug overdose. Police call logs stated that a 46-year-old man from Hartford, Wisconsin had taken heroin. He was breathing, but was not responding to emergency workers. According to police, the man was discovered in the bathroom at the time of the overdose. Police said an Oak Creek firefighter/paramedic administered Narcan - a powerful drug reversal agent - in order to revive him. Authorities said the man was revived and told first responders that he had no intention of harming himself.
