Firefighters responded to a barn fire Sunday morning in Albion.
According to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office a controlled burn was happening behind the barn when the wind shifted causing the empty barn to catch fire.
Fire departments from Edgerton, Ft. Atkinson, Cottage Grove, Janesville and Milton responded to the fire at 10:30 Sunday morning. The fire departments said they were not able to save the barn, it’s considered a $75,000 loss.
