VIDEO: Today, community members in Arcadia gathered to celebrate and honor Jeff Halvorsen.
Halvorsen was the fire chief of the Arcadia-Glencoe Fire Department before passing away on August 22nd. Halvorsen was a part of the Arcadia-Glencoe Fire Department for over 31 years while serving as chief for over 17.
During his personal and professional career, he received several outstanding awards, the Melvin Jones Fellow for dedicated humanitarian services, the Community Service award, the 2012 Fest Master, and the State of Wisconsin Life Saving Medal of Honor.
