VIDEO/PHOTOS: An effort to make the holiday season brighter for children's hospital patients is reaching new heights. Members of the Green Bay Fire Department delivered gifts collected by members of the Central Church in Green Bay to patients at St. Vincent Children's Hospital Thursday. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, firefighters could not go inside and visit with the children but they were able to bring a special surprise to their windows. Santa Claus and firefighters waved to the children from a ladder truck which was raised tall enough for the patients to see from their hospital windows. Firefighter Nick Craig says the department and the church has been doing this for eight years.
