Marshfield Fire Chief Scott Owen celebrated his last day on the job on Friday. Chief Owen has been at the Marshfield Fire Station for over 25 years. Owen said it's the people at the station who have made the job what it is. He said that while he is looking forward to retirement, it is bittersweet to say goodbye to his second family. "I am proud of each and every member in this department. We have come a long way in the 25 years that I've been here. These are by far the best co-workers that I've ever had," Owen said. Though he is retiring, he said he will still be around and is looking forward to monthly coffee with the other retirees at the station so he can stay in touch with his crew.
