A house fire in Marshall led to road closures Wednesday night on Highway 73. Dane County dispatch said it received a call at 6:21 p.m. for a report of a structure fire on Canal Road. Officials said firefighters called a box alarm, meaning agencies from several municipalities were sent to assist. The homeowner told our crew at the scene that everyone was able to evacuate the house safely, including the pets. According to the state Department of Transportation, all lanes on WIS 73 at Canal Road were blocked for about four hours before reopening at 10:23 p.m.
