One person was injured early Sunday morning in a house fire on the south side of La Crosse. The La Crosse Fire Dept. was called to the home at 5203 Mormon Coulee Road around 1:50 a.m. When firefighters got there, heavy smoke and fire was coming from the single-story home. One firefighter was checked for injuries by Tri-State Ambulance and released at the scene. The home was severely damaged. Crews were still on scene as of 10:30 Sunday morning.
