One person is dead and another was injured following a fire Thursday morning, Jan. 28 at the Burnham Hill Apartments -- located near 29th and Mitchell in Milwaukee. The fire broke out just after midnight. The fire started on the third floor in a single apartment. A 72-year-old man from Milwaukee was found deceased inside the unit where the fire originated. The family has identified the victim as Nathaniel Beal. The cause of his death is under investigation but believed to have been caused by the fire. The cause of the fire is undetermined and not believed to be suspicious at this time. This is an ongoing investigation. The tenants were displaced.
