Four people have been displaced following a house fire Monday afternoon in Appleton. Firefighters say they were dispatched shortly after 3:30 p.m. for a report of a fire in the 2400 block of S. Eric Drive. Dispatchers reported that everyone was out of the house and smoke and flames could be seen. Upon arrival, crews found flames through the roof of the home. A limited search was conducted and confirmed no one was inside. The fire was extinguished within 30 minutes but resulted in an estimated $100,000 in damage. The displaced include two adults, two children and a pet. No one was injured.
