A café in Augusta is destroyed after a fire broke out Sunday afternoon. Firefighters were still on the scene early Monday morning nearly 10 hours after the fire started. Tuggar’s Cafe and Catering on Lincoln Street caught fire Sunday afternoon. Crews shut down Highway 12 as dozens of firefighters worked to get the flames under control. The owner of the restaurant, Tugger Francel says thankfully, no one was inside at the time, but it was devastating to watch nearly 32 years of hard work go up in flames as the building is a complete loss.
