La Crosse Fire Department rescue crews pulled a fallen biker off a trail just after 8 p.m. Saturday. According to a release from Battalion Chief Bee Xiong, crews found the biker and brought the person to safety to a parking area with technical rope rescue equipment. Fire crews were on scene for approximately 1 1/2 hours during the rescue incident. The La Crosse Fire Department had seven apparatus and 12 personnel on scene. The La Crosse Fire Department was also assisted by the La Crosse Police Department and Tri-State Ambulance.
