A 67-year-old man is injured after a house explosion in Langlade County. The Langlade County Sheriff's Office tells News 9 that emergency crews were called to the house on Kennedy Lane shortly after 11 a.m. They were on scene close to two hours. The exact cause of the explosion is still under investigation, but it's believed to have started in the basement area of the home. The person injured was transported to the hospital to receive treatment for burns. The sheriff's office says at this time foul play is not suspected. The State of Wisconsin Fire Marshal is assisting Elcho Fire with the investigation that is ongoing.
