Firefighters in Trempealeau County worked to put out a large fire at a commercial building in Ettrick. When our crew arrived on scene off US Highway 53, they could see flames and heavy smoke coming from the building.
John Hovre, a witness on scene, works in the building for Equity Livestock which is located in the building.
He said the fire caused significant damage, and he doesn’t know how the fire started.
Crews from the Ettrick and Galesville fire departments, as well as Tri-State Ambulance were on scene.
Tri-State told News 8 Now that there are no reported injuries, and the ambulance on scene was on stand-by for any potential injuries.
