All lanes on I-94 eastbound near County F/Redford Boulevard in Waukesha have reopened after a semi-truck crash and fire near Goerke's Corners. The crashed happened just after 5 a.m. Thursday. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation said the semi-driver hit the US 18 overpass and was ejected from his truck. The impact ripped the cab from the trailer. The driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. Some drivers said they were delayed by as much as two hours. "It was like a parking lot, it was moving very slow," Ashley Orlikowski said. The highway reopened shortly before 1 p.m. The Waukesha County Highway Department spent the morning repairing walls and clearing debris. The driver's name has not been released. Investigators continue to look into what caused the driver to lose control of his truck.
