For the third time in three days, the Fond du Lac Fire Department was on the scene of a residential fire. FDL Fire Rescue was called out Tuesday April 26, 2022 at 3:34 p.m. for a report of a garage fire at 598 S. Military Rd. Once on the scene, fire crews found thick smoke from the front of the garage and heavy fire showing from the rear service door. Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire before it could spread to a nearby garage. One vehicle inside the garage was destroyed while the garage sustained extensive damage. Fire investigators are on scene working to determine the cause and origin of the fire. There were no reported injuries or displaced residents. FDL Police Department assisted with scene management and traffic control.
