The Sturgeon Bay Police Department says a second body was recovered from the burned-out rubble of Butch’s Bar Thursday afternoon. This follows the recovery of a body earlier in the day. Both victims were male, and both remains are being taken to Madison for positive identification. No names will be made public until the identities are confirmed and their families have been notified, police said. The bar had nine tenants in upstairs apartments. One victim was found right away Tuesday. Another tenant was taken to a burn center; we don’t know their condition. Police say the removal of the two bodies clears the way for razing what remains of the structure. Roads around the scene will reopen after the debris has been removed and they’re deemed safe for vehicles.
