VIDEO/PHOTOS: Firefighters battled a fire at Karthauser & Sons Wholesale Florist in Germantown on Thursday morning, Feb. 24. Officials say a 911 call about the fire came into the Germantown Police Department around 6:45 a.m. Arriving officers saw the fire was contained to a detached shed where a wood-burning stove to heat boilers for the business was located. There was also a large amount of wood chips in the shed that supplied the wood burning stove. Germantown Fire Department arrived on the scene -- and was able to contain the fire to the wood burner shed.
