VIDEO: No one is hurt after a garage fire Tuesday night in Eau Claire.
The fire, which happened at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at a detached garage near the intersection of 9th Street and Walnut Street on Eau Claire’s northwest side, was quickly brought under control, according to a release from Eau Claire Fire and Rescue.
Eau Claire Fire and Rescue estimates that the fire caused $30,000 in damage to the single-car garage, including its contents. No cause of the fire was given and the fire remains under investigation.
The Eau Claire Police Department, Eau Claire Communications Center and Xcel Energy are credited with assistance during the fire.
