Two people were found dead near the scene of a fire in the Township of Presque Isle Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Vilas County Sheriff's Office, the call for the fire off of Baer Road came in at 12:43 p.m.
When they arrived, local firefighters and responders from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Fire Services were able to put out the flames.
The Sheriff's Office was brought in after two victims were found near the location of the fire.
According to the Sheriff's Office, power lines were down in the area of the fire, and that's where the victims were found.
