A fire broke out at an apartment building in Oak Creek Saturday evening but nobody was injured, according to an Oak Creek Fire Department news release.
It happened in the 200 block of West Puetz Road around 10 p.m., the news release said. Firefighters who were first to get there saw fire and smoke from one of the apartment units.
Fire companies led an offensive and got the flames under control and extinguished within 10 minutes of their arrival, the news release said. Several nearby apartments were injured from the fire's smoke but nobody was injured, the fire department said.
A cause remains under investigation.
