The Eagle River Fire Department is participating in the "Keep the Wreath Green" fire safety campaign. From now until New Year's Day, a bulb will be changed from green to red for every structure fire that the Eagle River Fire Department responds to. The goal of this program is to keep the wreath green. Firefighters encourage people to water their Christmas Trees, turn all Christmas lights off when they're not home and choose LEDs instead of actual candles when decorating.
