No injuries are reported following a structure fire in Buffalo County Wednesday.
According to a press release from the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office, on Dec. 20, 2023, around 11:33 a.m., authorities received reports of a farm shed that was smoking heavily and was on fire at S77 Highway 37, in the Town of Naples.
The press release says authorities arrived to find a shed fully engulfed, with the roof caved in. One of the farm employees told a deputy on scene that they noticed the fire started near the end of the shed. The employee said the shed contained five manure trucks that contained full fuel tanks of diesel.
According to the owner, the shed also contained several bales of hay and corn stalks.
A deputy on scene reported that neither of the farm’s employees or animals were hurt.
