PHOTO: The Volunteer Center of Washington County announced that they have received a donation of $8,000 from the West Bend Fire Department recently.
"We are almost certain that if you Google the definition of Servant Leadership, you will find a photo of the West Bend Firefighters right next to the description," said a Facebook post from the Volunteer Center. "This group is one that embodies this leadership philosophy and is constantly striving to find new ways to prioritize the community and serve."
According to the post, the WBFD demonstrated their servant leadership recently by holding a golf outing to raise funds for the Volunteer Center, 303 Water St., West Bend.
"Truly, we could not be more grateful for their commitment to service and support for our programming," said the Volunteer Center’s post.
