Eight people were displaced by a fire at a Green Bay apartment on Thursday morning.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department responded to an apartment on Imperial Lane around 10 a.m. for a report of a fire. On scene, crews found smoke coming from the roof and eaves of the building.
Firefighters entered the apartment and extinguished the fire in under 20 minutes.
All the residents evacuated before fire crews arrived and nobody was injured during the fire. The estimated loss is $50,000 and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Green Bay Metro Fire Department Fire Marshall’s Office.
The Brown County Dispatch Center, the Green Bay Police Department, WPS, and the Red Cross all assisted the Green Bay Metro Fire Department during the incident.
