According to Milwaukee Fire, the fire broke out a little before 10 p.m., and crews initially received calls for help for one person trapped inside the home. When crews arrived, they found two people were trapped inside the burning building.
Firefighters were able to rescue the two victims, who were taken to a hospital for treatment. As of Wednesday morning, Milwaukee Fire could not share the victims' current conditions or ages, but did confirm no one died on scene.
