PHOTO: A fire in the Town of Montrose resulted in about $75,000 in damages Wednesday morning, a Belleville Fire Department spokesperson said. Belleville crews were called to the area near County Highway A and Severson Road just before 9 a.m. A 911 caller said that a shed housing lawnmowers and tools had caught fire. Crews confirmed that report upon arrival and began working to put out the flames. No other buildings were threatened and the fire was brought under control within 15 minutes of the firefighters' arrival. No injuries were reported by the property owner and responding emergency departments.
