VIDEO/PHOTOS: Firefighters responded to a rollover crash with two people trapped in a car in downtown Madison, according to the Madison Fire Department. The crash was reported in the 100 block West Washington Avenue at 10:57 a.m. Monday. Two people were taken to the hospital for evaluation. When firefighters arrived, Madison police officers were already on scene. The vehicle had rolled on its driver’s side. The vehicle’s doors were locked and the driver was unable to reach the door to unlock them, according to spokesperson Cynthia Schuster. Fire crews then stabilized the vehicle with struts and blocks. Firefighters broke the back window to get in the vehicle and access the backseat passenger. One firefighter then got a child out of the vehicle.
