VIDEO/PHOTOS: One person was lightly injured and a mobile home is considered a total loss following a fire Tuesday afternoon.
The cause, according to Marshfield fire officials, was a child playing with matches in a back room.
Crews were called out to the 2200 block of S. Maple Avenue in Marshfield, at the mobile home park near Wildwood Park, just after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Marshfield interim Fire Chief Jody Clements says his crews saw heavy smoke as they were driving to the scene, and viewer pictures showed flames pouring out the sides and roof of the home.
Despite the intensity of the blaze, crews were able to get the fire under control within about 20 minutes of arrival.
The home was ruled a total loss.
