An Adams County restaurant is considered a total loss after a fire on Sunday, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
Firefighters responded just after 4:10 p.m. for a kitchen fire at Family Affair Restaurant, on the 200 block of N. Main Street, in Friendship. Deputies reported seeing flames from the building and multiple fire departments were called in to assist.
The Adams Co. Highway Dept. shut down State Highway 13 and implemented detours while firefighters put out the fire.
No one was hurt and the fire is not considered suspicious, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The cause of the fire was not indicated.
