VIDEO: The Wisconsin State Firefighters Association (WSFA) hosted its 2024 conference in Stevens Point this year.
This event has been held around different parts of Wisconsin for more than five decades.
The event was open to the public, but is used as a way for firefighters to collaborate and communicate with other first responder agencies to create more effective ways for emergency responses.
"There are architects for building fire halls, their is insurance people, there is maintenance people for maintaining fire trucks and equipment and there is a wider variety of vendors that all come together as kind of fire related," said Barry Kuenkel, a WFSA coordinator.
The event had more than 50 vendors. One those was the Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners of the Americas, Inc.
