Numerous first responders, including police, fire, and EMS, might surround Oconto Middle School Wednesday afternoon and evening.
Oconto Fire & Rescue is letting residents know about training at the school at 400 Michigan Ave. from 3:30 p.m. until about 8 p.m.
Neighbors can expect to see a lot of people vehicles, fire trucks, and ambulances from numerous jurisdictions. There may also be excessive noise from the fire apparatus and training activities.
“This type of training is invaluable for all first responders to practice the lifesaving skills needed to protect your family and your community from an emergency, enhancing both safety and effectiveness,” Fire Chief Josh Bostedt wrote.
The event is organized by Oconto County Emergency Management.
Oconto public schools are on spring break this week.
