The Cheat Lake Volunteer Fire Department encountered a very scary moment when they were hit by two vehicles.
"Everything happened kind of quick and they were not really sure what happened," said Chief, Jason Christopher.
Christopher said his team was responding to a call on I-68 Sunday afternoon.
While they were turning around on the interstate to go toward the direction of the accident, they were sideswiped by a car passing on their left side.
Then, a box truck hit them from behind.
"The driver of our apparatus made sure everybody in our vehicle was ok, alert and well. They exited the vehicle and went and checked on the other drivers of the other two vehicles," said Christopher.
