A man died in a house fire in Kanawha County Wednesday night, authorities said.
The victim, believed to be in his 80s, was unable to get out of the house on Belcher Road, which is near Rutledge Road north of Campbells Creek.
The blaze was reported at 601 Belcher Road at around 8:20 p.m.
Fire crews from Belle, Malden and Rand were on the scene.
The state Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
