Crews responded to the scene of a vehicle fire on I-79 in Bridgeport on Wednesday morning. According to 911 dispatch, the fire started just after 7:35 a.m. on the southbound side of the interstate at mile marker 119. Clarksburg and Bridgeport Fire Departments responded to the scene. One outside lane of I-79 was closed, but it has since reopened. No word yet on what caused the fire.
