Everyone is OK after a crash involving a car and a Huntington Fire Department engine Friday. It happened at the intersection of 8th Street and 11th Avenue. 911 dispatchers say the call came in around 1:30 p.m. Friday. Huntington Police responded to the crash, but dispatchers say there were no injuries. According to Huntington Fire Chief Jan Rader, Engine One was responding to a fire when the crash happened. Rader tells WSAZ the vehicle was using lights, sirens and a turn signal. The firefighters were turning onto 11th Ave. when a car ran into the fire engine. Rader urges drivers to yield to first responders to avoid accidents like this.
