Three people have been charged after a robbery and fire at a home in Harrison County. According to the criminal complaint, crews responded to a fire at home on Gain Street in Salem in January. The fire was later determined to be an arson. Officials say the owner of the home had been away for days at the time of the fire. They say that during interviews, Okey Jones Jr. and Jessie Gray admitted to having broken into the home earlier in the day and taking a chest, which contained a silver star, American flag, and a purple heart. They say the chest was later found in Jones' home, but the items inside were missing.
