State Route 61 is closed Friday night between East Bank and Crown Hill due to a mudslide. The East Bank Fire Department made that announcement around 7:15 p.m. on its social media. Our crew at the scene said firefighters reported more and more of the hillside coming down. There's no word at this time about when the road will reopen there.
