Four people were sent to the hospital after a fire in Texarkana, AR Tuesday morning.
The fire happened around 4 a.m. at a home in the 500 block of Euclid Street.
Jeremiah Woodell, who says he was inside of the house, told KSLA News 12 once he discovered it was on fire he started trying to rescue his four relatives.
Woodell was able to his mother Pauletta Ratliff, his uncle Arthur Whitfield, his uncle's partner Cynthia Wedgeworth and her daughter April Wedgeworth out before calling 911.
Once crews arrived it took them about 20 minutes to put out the flames, according to firefighters.
Ratliff and April and Cynthia Wedgeworth were taken to a hospital in Shreveport. At least one of them was transported via helicopter. Ratliff was listed in critical condition, the others as fair.
