VIDEO: A Saline County woman faces more than a hundred felony charges after state police found hundreds of thousands of dollars were mishandled while she worked as a bookkeeper at a volunteer fire department. According to a State Police affidavit, a legislative audit found nearly $300,000 improperly spent by the Turtle Creek Volunteer Fire Deparment, with more than half of that being undocumented pay to Samantha Blair. Investigators say the 42-year-old, who was paid for bookkeeping at the department, was involved in altering financial records. The affadivit states Blair signed nearly $70,000 in checks to herself then changed them to, "reflect a vendor's name rather than that of her own." According to the affadivt 131 checks were changed.
