VIDEO: While firefighters pack their gear, a hole in the roof reflects what happened a few hours before. "Get everyone out and make sure everyone was safe," says Floyd Hayden, who works in Maintenance at the Kensett Housing Authority. Kensett firefighters were called to the Kensett Housing Authority off Wilbur D. Mills Avenue just after 1:30 Wednesday afternoon. Hayden says he tried putting the flames out with a garden hose before firefighters arrived. "I just started spraying what I could with the hose which was no battle. I couldn't do anything," says Hayden. Kensett Fire Captain Andrew Allwhite says there were several oxygen tanks inside one of the apartment units which forced nearby apartments to evacuate.
