VIDEO: Arkansas State Police troopers responded to an accident in Benton County where a car drove into a pond. It happened just after 9 p.m. Monday on Dove Road near State Highway 72 according to ASP dispatchers. Dispatchers say all lanes were shut down but opened a short time later. One person was in the car. He told 40/29 News that he got out of the car using his sunroof before the car went completely under water. He was not injured. At this time, we are not sure what caused him to drive off the road.
