The Wynne Fire Department was busy Monday as crews battled a fire in the attic of a home. According to a Facebook post, fire crews went to a house just before 9:55 a.m. and found heavy fire in the attic of a building. Crews “deployed several 1 3/4 hand lines entering the home and pulling ceiling down to gain access to the area of the fire.” Firefighters also ventilated the building to help with the exit of smoke/gases put off by the fire and were on the scene for around three hours. According to the post, there were no injuries in the fire.
