Poinsett County house considered 'total loss' following fire

PHOTO: Officials say a Poinsett County home is a “total loss” after a fire swept through. According to the Trumann Fire Department, crews responded to the fire around 3:10 p.m. Monday, June 27, in the 14,000-block of Sadler Lane. Around 6 p.m., the fire rekindled and heavy smoke could be seen coming from the top of the unoccupied rental home. It took firefighters nearly three hours to finally douse the flames. Trumann firefighters said no one was inside the house at the time of the fire and reported no injuries. According to TFD, the home suffered extensive damage and is considered a “total loss.”
